Apurbo against two sisters

Veet star Asha and model Pia Bipasha are sister in real life. For second time, they performed together in same play.
Asha and Pia Bipasha performed together in a faction play titled “Somoy-er Golpo Asomoyer Swapno,” which will go on air in any satellite channel on the occasion of upcoming Eid festival. The play was directed by BU Shuvo under the script written by Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Joni.
In this play, Asha and Pia Bipasha performed together against popular TV actor Apurbo. Asha performed in role of Apurbo’s wife, Ripa, while her younger sister Pia acted in role Apurbo’s girlfriend, Rimi in the play.
Shooting of the play was held in different locations in Cox’s Bazar on May 29 and 30. After completing shooting they returned to Dhaka yesterday.
While sharing his feelings to work against two sisters in same play Apurbo told this correspondent, “Both Asha and Pia are newcomers in media. They had tried their level best to express their characters in the play. If they continued their level best effort they can get success in the long run.”
Asha expressed her feelings by this way, “Apurbo bhaiya is a cooperative actor. We (me and Pia) got positive support from him while performing in the play.”
On the other hand, Pia Bipasha said, “Acting is such a different expressive and performing art in the media that I have learnt how to perform from Apurbo bhaiya by performing in this play. I have enjoyed working with him.”
After returning Dhaka yesterday Apurbo is taking preparation to take part in shooting for Shihab Shahin directed ongoing drama serial “Bhalobasar Chotushkone,” which is being aired on NTV now.
On the other hand, Asha acted drama serial “Cinemai Jemon Hoi” was being aired on Channel 24 from last week. Asha’s acting was appreciated by the viewer in the play.
Asha’s younger sister Pia Bipasha is going to India today to take part in shooting for a television commercial, which will be directed by Golam Faruk. She will return to Dhaka on June 5.
It may be mentioned that Asha and Pia Bipasha firstly performed together in a telefilm titled “Dwitiyo Matra,” which was directed by Masudul Hasan. It was aired on Channel i this year. Earlier Apurbo had performed in BU Shuvo directed two plays. Those were- “Astittwo Anubhobe” and “Chena Chena Lagey.”
